“Lambert St. Louis Airport – Past, Present & Future”
Dr. Daniel L. Rust, Ph.D., Assistant Director, Center for Transportation Studies, University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL)
Dr. Jerry Beckmann, Deputy/Director of Planning and Engineering, Lambert St. Louis International Airport

Join us as we team up with the American Planning Association (APA) to learn about and discuss the past, present and future of the Lambert St. Louis International Airport. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 24 (11:30-1:00), at Orlando's Banquet Center in Maryland Heights (2050 Dorsett Rd.,Maryland Heights MO). Dr. Daniel Rust, Ph.D., will discuss the historical aspects of the airport, including what it is, where it is, where it's been, and how it became what it is today. Lambert-St. Louis International Airport is the 30th busiest airport in the U.S. The Airport has spent the last decade expanding its airfield and runway capacity and completing the largest interior renovation of the historic Terminal 1 and connected concourses.

What’s ahead for Lambert?  Deputy Director of Planning &Engineering Mr. Jerry Beckmann will detail progress, campaigns and strategies for Lambert to further develop aviation and non-aviation business development around the airport (including the expansion of cargo operations and facilities) that will help grow and sustain the Airport’s impact on the region. This will be a very exciting topic that will provide key information for people in the St. Louis region and directly impact those neighboring communities in St. Louis County. Don't miss out on this great opportunity.
