    The City of Clayton is searching for a full-time Municipal Service Foreman to join our team. The purpose of this position is to oversee the work output of a specific crew and efficient completion of the scope of the work outlined by the Public Works Superintendent. Key responsibilities/duties include (but are not limited to):

    • Assigns and supervises the work of semiskilled and/or skilled workers and equipment operators in the repair, maintenance, or construction of streets, lighting, grounds, and facilities.
    • Maintains the existing street light system and installs new streetlights.
    • Trains and instructs subordinates.
    • Removes snow and ice from city streets and municipal parking lots during the winter season.

    Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum five (5) years' work experience in road construction/maintenance. Minimum three (3) years of supervisory and/or crew leader experience required. Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

    Compensation: The City of Clayton offers a competitive salary range and comprehensive benefits package. The starting salary range for this position is $45,977 - $52,874, depending on qualifications.
