The City of Clayton is searching for a full-time Municipal Service Foreman to join our team. The purpose of this position is to oversee the work output of a specific crew and efficient completion of the scope of the work outlined by the Public Works Superintendent. Key responsibilities/duties include (but are not limited to):
Assigns and supervises the work of semiskilled and/or skilled workers and equipment operators in the repair, maintenance, or construction of streets, lighting, grounds, and facilities.
Maintains the existing street light system and installs new streetlights.
Trains and instructs subordinates.
Removes snow and ice from city streets and municipal parking lots during the winter season.

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum five (5) years' work experience in road construction/maintenance. Minimum three (3) years of supervisory and/or crew leader experience required. Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Compensation: The City of Clayton offers a competitive salary range and comprehensive benefits package. The starting salary range for this position is $45,977 - $52,874, depending on qualifications.
