WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS SUPPORT SUPERVISOR, FULL-TIME
Supervises work of four employees.Oversees the proper operation, maintenance and repair of all pump stations, towers, and tank.Ensures proper operation of automated meter reading/infrastructure, telemetry, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system equipment.Oversees water meter replacement and maintenance and water tap installations.Supervises and performs the investigation and resolution of customer complaints regarding low pressure, low flow, high water bills, leaks, and water quality by inspecting meters, plumbing system and valves, and researching usage history. Fosters a high degree of safety in the work place; enforces all City and department safety policies and requirements.
High school graduate.Considerable knowledge of (SCADA) system operations and automated meter reading/infrastructure (AMR/AMI).Minimum of three years’ experience in the water utility industry. Valid Class B Commercial driver’s license.Class DSIII MoDNR Certificate of Competency in water distribution systems operations.Class C MoDNR Certificate of Competency in water systems operations, preferred.Knowledge of various computer software programs to include Word, Excel, and Access.Knowledge of, use of, and operation of GPS equipment. Available to be on-call outside of normal work schedule and willing to work unscheduled and scheduled overtime when necessary.
Both indoor and outdoor working environments to include exposure to a variety of extreme weather conditions.
SALARY:$47,269 per year plus excellent benefits.
