The Public Works department is looking to hire a Transit and Parking Manager. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field; minimum of 5 years experience in transportation and/or utility management, including supervisory experience. Primary responsibilities include performing administrative work, coordinating, planning, implementing, and supervising the Parking Utility and Columbia Transit activities, including safety, facility maintenance, and compliance inspection. Must be able to prepare FTA grant applications and administer grant-funded programs. Coordinate project work with consultants and City/County departments as they relate to Transit and Parking functions. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, City officials, and the general public.
