The Missouri Chapter APWA is accepting applications for the following end of the year awards. These awards will be presented at the Fall Conference. Nominations are being accepted for the following awards:
The D2 award recoginzes individuals who exemplify excellence and dedication in serving the public and the public interest through outstanding achievements and performance in the field of Public Works.
The Public Works Leader of the Year is presented to individuals who seek to inspire excellence and dedication in public service by recognizing the outstanding career service achievements of individual public work professionals and officials, from both the public and private sector.
The Professional Engineer of the Year seeks to inspire excellence and dedication in the private and public sectors be recognizing the outstanding career service achievements of engineering and technology professionals. The primary focuse of this award is recognition of exceptional leadership and management in the Public Works profession.
The Young Professional Leader of The Year Award recognizes APWA members who have demonstrated an initial commitment to the profession and the Association and display potential for future growth within the Association. The award promotes the concept that length of career does not necessarily indicate leadership abilities or potential for service.
