This is FREE training on the new guidebook for Missouri entitled “Traffic Practices: A Guidebook
for City and CountyAgencies,” which will serve as a resource for individuals who have responsibility for
transportation engineering decisions and services within their local jurisdiction. Workshops will
be held around the State of Missouri that will provide an overview of the guidebook with emphasis
on the transportation engineering concepts and principles, which guide the day-to-day operations and longer term needs of local agencies. The goal is to provide safer and more efficient transportation systems throughout the State of Missouri by addressing the needs of
local agencies.Who Should Attend:
The intended audience is those with responsibility for planning, design,
construction and installation, operation and maintenance of transportation systems and will be
particularly valuable for those smaller jurisdictions that may not have a professional
transportation engineer on staff. However, training will also benefit all engineers and
non-engineers with signing and marking responsibilities.
*Funding support for the training is being provided through an Accelerating Safety Activities
Program (ASAP) grant from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
A copy of the guidebook will be given to each attendee. PDHs will be available.Click here for registration form
