Do you or your employees apply pesticides outdoors and have a Missouri or Kansas Pesticide License? If so, it’s time to think about pesticide recertification for you and your employees. Skip Kincaid with Davey Resource Group is offering recertification classes again for Category 2 (Forest Pests); Category 3 (Ornamental and Turf); and Category 6 (Right-of-Way.) Registration materials and additional information is available at www.davey.com/pesttraining Register early to take advantage of “early bird” discounts.
In addition, we also offer the 10-hour classroom portion of the pesticide technician training program that is approved by the Missouri Department of Agriculture. Technician trainees will receive a training manual with forms required by the Missouri Department of Agriculture and will receive assistance with completing the forms.
No exam is required for recertification or to complete the classroom portion of the technician training program.
Many folks also attend our classes to prepare for the written examination required for applicants of an Applicators License in Category 2, 3, and 6. No exam is given at these classes. You will need to contact Missouri Department of Agriculture for exam dates and other requirements. The class is an excellent training opportunity to prepare for the exam.
Classes will be held in the following locations:
St. Louis, MO on February 25-26, 2014 at Powder Valley Nature Center
Kansas City, MO on March 7-8, 2014 at the Discovery Center
Attendance at the first day is required for recertification. Only technician trainees must attend both days. Skip has been providing these classes for over twenty years with a strong following of repeat clients that enjoy hearing information they can use.
Registration materials and additional information is available at www.davey.com/pesttraining where credit card payments are accepted by clicking the link on the right hand side of the page. We also offer volume discounts for organizations that wish to register 5 or more employees in advance.
